Integrity- a core value

Posted on 27 October 2014

Here are some of our thoughts about integrity and a u tube clip to add support to living a life of integrity.

The quality of being honest and having strong moral principle

To us this means:

-People being responsible for themselves and each other

-Students and adults listening to each other

-Students listening to instructions and following them carefully

-Keeping private things private (adults)

-Honouring the curriculum (teachers

-Students and teachers doing their best

-Being honest in our endeavours

-Formative Practice – knowing and learning about the next steps

-Teachers giving quality feedback to students

-Students engaged in quality discussion with their teachers

-Teachers involved on ‘Open to Learning” discussions

-Teachers able to give each other safe constructive feedback

Summed up as 'respect'. People listening to others and being responsible for themselves and their actions.

that's what I though Mrs Potts. I like the idea of being strong even when you are the only one who does the right thing.
