The Taupo Primary School PTA are a cohesive group of parents and caregivers who help fundraise to provide the cherry on the top of school life by way of supporting the teachers and Principal with additional teaching resources.

Over previous years the PTA have given resources such as projector & screen, computers on wheels, literacy and numeracy resources, digital cameras, playground shelter & equipment, sporting equipment and sports team’s uniforms. This helps bond the school together as a unique group and enrich our children.

We are well known for our "Stars in their Thighs” evening which is held at the Great Lake Centre every alternative year (our next show is 2019). We organise and run the school discos, car boot sales and through winter have made and sold hot dogs & macaroni cheese for lunch. We provide support at Meet the Teacher Days, Cross Country and have been involved as volunteers in the last two "King of the Ring” boxing events.

The PTA have monthly meetings in the school staff room and all parents and caregivers are welcome. We are a social team and like to make our fundraising events enjoyable ones for all!
